Cariloha, a Certified B Corporation, leads the market in eco-friendly, sustainable bamboo bedding products, including mattresses, adjustable bases, sheets, pillows, and duvet comforters. We provide luxurious comfort while being environmentally responsible. We are seeking a dynamic National Account Manager to drive sales of our premium bamboo bedding products to the Top 100, Mid Majors, and Independent Furniture & Mattress stores across the United States. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, customer service, and follow-up, and will be creative in developing win/win solutions for both retailers and Cariloha.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with C-level executives and other decision-makers.
- Drive creative and visionary dealer development for long-term growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with key retailers.
- Negotiate and close sales deals.
- Develop a strong customer network within logistics, advertising, and customer service departments.
- Plan and execute solution selling strategies.
- Handles time management, customer complaints, in a timely manner.
- Conduct business reviews, manage expenses, and lead sales meetings.
- Articulate margins, profits, and dealer opportunities (e.g., expansions, ROI).
- Lead, coach, train, and guide indirect reports on the dealer team.
- Attend industry trade shows to network and build relationships, adding Cariloha to retail floors.
- Create compelling presentations and reports using advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
- Travel up to 50% as required.
- Conduct store training and manage communications (written & oral).
- Network internally and externally to build relationships.
- Gather and act on customer feedback.
- Engage in future planning and resource utilization.
- Onboard new team members and collaborate with internal team members.
Requirements
Qualifications: - Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in account management or sales, with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships in the Furniture & Mattress Industry.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Customer Service Focus: Strong commitment to customer satisfaction, with excellent follow-up abilities to ensure client needs are met.
- Creativity and Innovation: Ability to develop creative solutions and strategies that benefit both the retailer and Cariloha.
- Technology Literacy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Organizational and Planning Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Selling Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and close sales deals, with a focus on solution selling and planning.
