- Works with property leadership and regional marketing teams to provide input for marketing tactics and methods and implements agreed upon marketing strategies for the Waterloo property.
- Coordinates and implements day-to-day marketing initiatives including promotions, events, direct mail, digital marketing, entertainment, marketing collateral and development and compliance of rules.
- Effectively communicates marketing promotions and events throughout the property and other departments.
- Coordinates between marketing team and operations departments
- Manages on-property marketing personnel.
- Manages operational expenses of the marketing department.
- Aims to exceed property revenue targets and EBITDA goals.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years' experience in casino marketing; at least 2 years' experience as a marketing leader.
- Has strong reasoning skills.
- Key skills: Communication (formal and interpersonal), financial analysis, planning, organization, team building.
- Possess a strong understanding of mass marketing.
- Understanding of the trends impacting casino visitation.
- Understanding of how strategies and spend impact revenue and EBITDA.
- Must be able to lift minimum 50 lbs.
- Flexible work schedule required - Schedules may vary month to month and could include holidays, nights and/or weekends.
- Knowledgeable about Microsoft Office software and applications.
- A College degree is preferred, but not required.
