ABOUT THE JOB SUMMARY The RV Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing OEM accounts within the RV industry. This individual works closely with RV Business Manager and cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies, achieve revenue targets, and support customer satisfaction. The role involves servicing current accounts, while gaining new business through promoting all ITC products.
CORE DUTIES Sales Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the RV Business Manager to create and implement a territory sales plan that aligns with revenue and growth goals. Engage with existing customers to support retention and growth of accounts.
New Custom Product Initiatives: Demonstrate ITC's custom capabilities and oversee customer-driven product initiatives by managing expectations, timelines, monitoring engineering and production processes, and ensuring accuracy in project documentation.
Customer Communication & Support: Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, coordinating with the customer care team on quotes, orders, and delivery timelines to ensure seamless service. Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and quality control teams to ensure that customer needs are met.
Product Placement & Recommendations: Identify opportunities for new product placements within existing accounts, using a deep understanding of customer requirements and ITC RV product specifications to recommend appropriate solutions.
Technical Advising: Provide guidance on product features and benefits based on customer specifications, performance requirements, and relevant regulations, and act as a knowledgeable advisor on ITC product capabilities and technical considerations.
Reporting & Documentation: Track account activities and significant customer interactions, document sales progress, report upcoming customer production trends and changes to the ITC forecasting and purchasing teams and maintain accurate records of communication. Utilizing a CRM to grow and maintain a robust sales opportunity pipeline, as part of the process to achieve territory revenue goals.
Market Expertise: Build and maintain expert-level knowledge of the RV OEM product. Collaborate with ITC engineering and marketing teams to share this competitive knowledge to help identify new product solutions. Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies.
Customer Events & Trade Shows: Represent the company at customer events and industry trade shows to enhance customer relationships and stay current on industry trends.
Other Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as may be required.

Requirements
JOB DESIRABLES AND REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; an associate degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience: 5 years of B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in OEM or technical product sales. Experience in the RV industry is preferred. Demonstrated experience with follow up and closing, territory management, prospecting, negotiation, product knowledge, and building strong customer relationships.
Physical Demands: Physical Requirements: Typical office environment with minimal physical demands.
Travel: Majority of day-to-day travel is within the Elkhart County, IN. and surrounding area with reoccurring trips to the Fort Wayne, IN. area. Occasional visits to out-of-state customer sites or attendance at industry events as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and virtual communication skills.
Motivation & Learning Agility: A creative, self-driven individual with a passion for learning, personal growth, and adaptability in dynamic situations.
Skills: Demonstrated record of sales growth, and proven expertise in account management, relationship building, and negotiation. Time management, and the ability to prioritize will be keys to success.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across departments and with individuals from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.
Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business software. CRM and ERP experience a plus. Ability to learn new tools and technologies.
Salary Description
$70,000-$80,000 per year + commission
