How You Will Do It:
• Responsible for the inventory, repair, organization, and maintenance of ITC owned equipment in warehouse
• Responsible for the inventory, repair, organization, and maintenance of client owned equipment in warehouse
• Supervise all aspects of department team members including hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and scheduling
• Manage check-in/out and load/unload processes ensuring all gear meet ITC’s standards in working condition and appearance
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Develop, implement, and maintain department policies and procedures, creating and managing operational excellence programs that are measurable and align with strategic goals and improve operational efficiency
• Ensure safety through proper equipment maintenance, safety programs, maintaining a clean and organized working environment; maintain health and safety standards in compliance with DOT, OSHA, state and federal regulations
• Develop a high-performing organization by promoting a positive, optimal work environment, eliminating barriers, coaching team in positive employee relations, including strategies to address employee concerns, recognizing outstanding performance, providing leadership, accountability, and effective feedback
• Mentor and develop team members identifying growth opportunities for team members and facilitating training and development initiatives that improve service quality and increase client satisfaction
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of internal processes providing best practice recommendations
• Communicate regularly regarding project timelines and progress to ensure needs & expectations are consistently exceeded and escalates any issues or concerns as needed
What You Need:
• 5+ years of experience managing technical teams
• 5+ years of experience with event logistics, technical staging, rigging, A/V, and construction processes
• Compelling communicator (and negotiator) at all levels of an organization
• Understanding of applicable OSHA codes and safety regulations
• Strong project management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to maintain composure against obstacles; solving problems with keen insight
• Willingness to work nonstandard work hours, weekends and travel as necessary
• Adept at building relationships (internal & external) and working in a team environment with proven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on other’s ideas, giving due appreciation and bringing out the best in others
