WHAT YOU WILL DO: - Perform rapid POCs to experiment and build rails for the engineering team
- Support engineers and project managers in rapid development and deployment
- Actively participate in team and enterprise-wide architecture and engineering discussions.
- Introduce enterprise architectural paradigms and solutions into the portfolio.
- Drive both high level and detailed design and conduct design reviews
- Engage and work with cross-functional leaders to understand and help define business principles, goals and strategy within scope of responsibility.
- Communicate to senior leaders regarding strategy direction and changes.
- Mentor engineers and solution architects to ensure technology complexities are understood very clearly to implement solutions expeditiously with high quality.
The Background That Fits: - 10+ years of IT industry experience with 3+ years in a Solutions or Technical Architect role, focusing more on development operations.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and developing AWS Serverless solutions (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions).
- Proven expertise in designing and developing asynchronous and RESTful APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Strong backend development experience using TypeScript and Node.js, with additional proficiency in languages like Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding technical teams, driving project outcomes, and mentoring team members in a senior capacity.
- Skilled in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and effectively communicating designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Istio) for scalable, distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of data technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, DynamoDB, MongoDB, GraphQL).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field required.
