Complete Description:
Our client seeks a talented Technical Writer to join a dynamic, collaborative team. The role involves creating, maintaining, and managing complex technical documents while working closely with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Research, prepare, and maintain detailed technical documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, IT Analysts, SQL Developers, and engage with vendors to understand system details.
- Participate as a member of a project team.
- Establish documentation processes and coach team members on effective writing practices.
- Ensure that documents meet editorial and customer specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.
- Work with writers, illustrators, word processors, and subject matter experts to coordinate and prepare edited drafts.
- Participate in the publishing of formatted documentation in various media.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technical subject matter as assigned.
- Track project documentation through creation, approval, publication, and update lifecycle.
- Partner with and create documentation for the Business Impact Analysis team.
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of Technical Writing experience
- Degree in the field of technical writing, information systems; or equivalent work experience
- Hands-on experience writing, formatting, and editing technical documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products
- Smartsheet and ServiceNow experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
