Senior Insurance Defense Attorney
Location: South Florida (Office in Palmetto Bay, FL)
Salary: $150,000 to $200,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Remote (can be hybrid)

Job Overview:
is seeking an experienced and driven Insurance Defense Attorney to join their esteemed team. This position is ideal for a seasoned attorney passionate about litigation, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality legal outcomes. The firm specializes in premise liability and personal injury defense for insurance carriers, emphasizing research, strategy, and quality representation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough forensic analyses to prepare cases for trial.
  • Draft summary judgments and legal documents requiring minimal revision.
  • Manage a strategic caseload, ensuring consistent quality representation.
  • Deliver premier service to a select portfolio of insurance clients.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys and paralegals to support litigation efforts.
  • Perform in-depth legal research and writing to strengthen trial strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in handling premise liability and personal injury defense cases.
  • Ability to manage complex caseloads with precision and efficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong writing skills that deliver compelling legal filings such as answers to complaints, motions for summary judgment, expert witness disclosures, counterclaims, motions in limine, motions to dismiss, and medical record analysis.
  • Responsive cadence with clientele providing 45-day, 60-day, and 120-day reporting protocols and timely communication with clients.
  • A proven track record of achieving the best possible outcomes for clients in defense of insurance claims, such as "take-nothing" judgements and reversals of awarded damages.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary up to $200,000 annually, based on experience.
  • 401(k) with a 3% profit-sharing contribution (regardless of self-contribution).
  • 100% employer-paid health insurance after one year.
