Summary:
A subsurface utility engineering company is looking for an in-office Surveying CADD Technician for their Sanford, Florida location. This position is responsible for preparing various surveys under the direction of the Survey Manager and Director. Candidates should have experience surveying boundaries, topographic, ALTA, and R/W Maps.
Responsibilities:
* Reducing/processing raw Right-of-Way information and import into CADD programs
* Supporting the Project Managers with the development of Right-of-Way plan documents for projects
* Providing technical support to the Project Managers by calculating, analyzing, organizing, coordinating and researching information and preparing drawings and exhibits
Types of projects:
* Boundary/ALTA Surveys (large commercial)
* Topographic Surveys
* Laser Scanning
* Subdivision Plats
* FDOT Contracts
* City Contracts
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
* Proficient in the use of Microstation/Geopak
* FDOT Right-of-Way Mapping CADD experience in Microstation/Geopak
* 5 years of FDOT survey/mapping experience
* Full understanding FDOT CADD standards
* Experience with writing and reading legal descriptions
* 2 year technical degree, or equivalent work experience
* Field experience is a PLUS
