What you will do:
This is a description of the requirements for a Senior Firmware Engineer . Abilities will include a command of firmware principles, organization and structures, and analytical skills to condense a set of functional requirements into firmware requirements.
Designing, implementing and troubleshooting FPGA solutions from functioning Matlab and/or Simulink models.
Work in a team of engineers to integrate FPGA boards with Embedded systems.
Design verification via digital scopes such as SignalTap or Chipscope.
Accurate code and interface documentation.
Use of git & github or other forms of revision control.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience in VHDL and/or Verilog/System Verilog
Experience writing Higher Order Language code (Python, C/C++) to generate automated test scripts for unit testing
Experience with Integrated Development and Simulation Environments (ModelSim, QuestaSim, Quartus II, Vivado , and ISE)
Familiar with FPGA, CPLD capabilities and technical merits.
Firm grasp of writing FPGA Design Constraints
Xlinx UltraScale (RF-SoC a plus)
Able to generate, understand and interpret resource usage reports and apply them to analyze requirements
Have an understanding of optimization through floor planning
Good documentation habits
Must have experience in the entire design process of an FPGA board bring-up.
Familiarity with measurement devices such as Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc
Minimum Experience in Expertise: 8 Years

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Pay: $145,000.00 - $172,000.00 per year
