Our client is seeking a warm and friendly Human Resources Generalist in Columbia, SC to primarily focus on the employee experience. Through daily activities related to employee relations and engagement along with other HR responsibilities, this team member will have a strong impact on overall retention and culture of the organization. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, positive and motivated, and savvy with social media and content creation.

This position is hybrid with hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Promote a fun and engaging work environment
• Create and implement a calendar of engagement activities
• Post content to social media
• Manage the employee engagement database
• Create and distribute the internal newsletter
• Oversee the employee recognition program
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding
• Remain educated on workforce trends and market information

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of HR generalist experience
• Social media savvy
• Strong file management and reporting skills
• Demonstrated success in employee engagement
