Scheduled Days & Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p/finish

Wage : $33-36 per hour

Ideal Candidate Criteria: At least 3 or more years working in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties: The SENIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER will work with the plant manager regarding all aspects of the production schedule.

• Managing the scheduling and timeliness of the production process.

• Scheduling production and monitoring the production process for problems.

• Handling production disruptions and productivity problems.

• Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management.

• Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.

• Tracking/trending of data collected.

• Working with and leading cross functional teams to optimize the schedule and to create efficient production schedules that meet customer demands, accommodate maintenance and shutdowns.

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

• Ensures timely and appropriate response to customer and sales production requests.

• Monitor the overall situation, including incoming orders, supply chain problems, market changes, and inventory issues to minimize the impact on production.

• Evaluate the workforce needs and schedule and work collaboratively with Plant Management and HR to make sure we align our workforce capacity with customer demand.

Skills Needed: Good speaking, reading and writing skills in English for paperwork and computer training purposes. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook; good data entry skills.
