The Senior Project Coordinator will act as a liaison to ensure proper alignment of projects to company objectives and strategic goals to support business strategy business growth by applying business system management and project coordination skills. Will serve as a support to the Strategic Management Office with expertise in managing projects of varied sizes to support GIA short and long-term enterprise strategies.
This position is located in the greater Seattle area and works through a hybrid work environment, with a minimum 2 days in the Seattle office.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**) :
Project Planning and Execution
- Partner with project sponsors to define objectives, scope, schedule, and budget
- Help create and maintain project plans, including success criteria and resource allocation
- Support the implementation of multiple projects
- Monitor project progress and report on key metrics
- Assess project risks and develop resolutions to maintain productivity, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure project success
- Schedule and organize project meetings
- Work closely with team members to ensure tasks are completed within prescribed timeframes and budgets
- Coordinate with various departments to understand project requirements
- Assist in stakeholder communication and management
Process Improvement and Analysis
- Work with business units to identify and document needs and requirements
- Analyze current operational procedures and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify detailed operations
Documentation and Reporting
- Contribute to the creation of project and process documentation, as well as presentations
Develop and maintain project schedules, and resource plans
- May be assigned other duties as required
Qualifications & Skills:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, insurance, or related field or substitute for education. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Familiarity with P&C insurance industry processes and terminology
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Proficiency with process mapping tools is preferred
Comprehensive Benefits:
- Pay Range: $79,276 - $147,228 depending on experience
