Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 (DOE)

About the Role:

CoWorx Staffing Services is partnering with our client to hire a Certification and Regulatory Specialist . In this role, you will execute and oversee approval and certification processes, ensuring that products meet national and international standards. You will also work closely with Global Sales and R&D to assess and meet regulatory requirements while supporting compliance and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage certification files (hard copy and electronic) and maintain document control systems.
• Oversee in-house audits and ensure readiness of certification components.
• Develop and maintain filing systems and databases for quality documents.
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve regulatory issues and gather necessary information.
• Conduct inspections using instruments like air quality gauges, flow meters, and voltmeters.
• Interpret standards, assess product compliance, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with external services and research institutions to achieve compliance goals.
• Organize and execute testing protocols on new and existing equipment.
• Ensure accurate marking and labeling for compliance with certifying bodies.
• Maintain schedules for inspections and renewals of certifications domestically and internationally.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Environmental, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related technical field.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3–5 years working with project management tools.
• Proven experience with regulatory bodies (domestic and international).
• Familiarity with IEC standards and certification processes.

Skills:

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, environmental, and chemical standards.
• Proficiency in software like MS Excel, SolidWorks CAD, Adobe, and label creation tools.
• Strong organizational, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and time management abilities.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable standing for up to four hours at a time.
• Onsite attendance at the East Longmeadow, MA location is required.
• Light travel to suppliers for certification-related activities.
