We are looking for a experienced and dedicated Estimator to join our team and contribute to our legacy of excellence.
Must have experience with steel railings or steel stairs - big projects!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze architectural drawings and specifications to determine material and labor costs.
- Prepare and process project change orders.
- Attend descope meetings with general contractors and architects.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities by networking and maintaining customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to assist in monthly billing processes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience estimating miscellaneous metals and light structural steel.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Candidates must have experience working with stairs (fancy stairs or railings commonly found in office buildings or train stations).
- Experience with steel fences , such as those used for residential properties or university campuses, is also critical.
