Pay Range: $25 - $28/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- The business Analyst I will be primarily responsible for posting customer payments and will handle some specialized payment situations, as assigned, under general supervision.
- Provide business function support in various power delivery settings.
- Develop customized reports provided by integrated systems, including Passport, PeopleSoft, Impromptu, etc, and MS Office applications.
- Use oral and written skills to present information.
- Accurately posts all assigned manual and electronic payments to customer accounts.
- Daily research of check payments to determine corresponding customer account.
- Verifies accuracy, research discrepancies and reconcile payment errors.
- Resolves and reports issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconciles payments daily.
- Works on special projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

- High school diploma with minimum of 5 years' experience in specific area of expertise.
- Familiarity with power companies a plus.
- Provide clerical and some administrative support.
- Utilize PC and mainframe applications, such as Microsoft Office, People Soft, Time, EERS, and Passport proficiently.
- This position requires excellent organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills to ensure payments are posted correctly into customer accounts.
- Candidate must demonstrate a positive demeanor, good verbal, and written communication skills.
- Candidate must have the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
