Pay Range: $28 - $31/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support– Finance Analyst.
- Business Projects Support.
- Collaborates with functional leaders and subject matter experts within the business or organization to support information needs of the business driven by projects.
- Business partners with functions to develop special studies for management, annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and reporting for projects.
- Prepares and consolidates financial data statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
- Understands financial, accounting, and managerial reporting concepts and applies them in change to business processes changes/ setup’s.
- Partners with Information Technology teams and project management specialists to develop, test and deliver Finance Systems solutions driven from business projects or system changes.
- Coaches or leads less-experienced Financial Analysts.
- Internal Controls.
- Assists in development and execution of annual Internal control plan.
- Reviews and tests financial and operational internal controls to evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control environment.
- Reviews business processes to identify risks and opportunities for improvement in safeguarding company assets and business operations.
- Identifies internal control issues and improvement opportunities that are meaningful and practical.
- Prepares and reviews internal control documentation (i.e. process maps, flowcharts, control matrices) to ensure documentation is current and processes are designed in accordance with company requirements.
- Communicates results, observations and improvement recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provides training and coaching to business on internal controls, accounting and company policies.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-Accounting, Financial Analysis, Excel and ERP.
- Accounting, Financial analysis experience: 2-3 years minimum.
- Ability to understand the system.
- This position will work with many functional leaders, so the right candidate should be able to understand what each department does and where information is coming from.
- Ability to gather and analyze data.
- Experience utilizing Excel.
- ERP experience, with Oracle experience being a bonus.
- Someone who is looking to grow within the company.
- Bachelor's degree required. If the candidate has their CPA or is actively working to obtain it, this would be a bonus.
