Role Description

Cowdrey Jenkins, LLP, seeks two California-admitted associate attorneys to join our trial litigation team. We are a California statewide civil litigation firm based in Camarillo that focuses on elder abuse/wrongful death litigation. One position is for a 1-5 year attorney. The second position is for a 5-15 year attorney with first or second-chair trial experience. Associate attorneys will have an opportunity to earn substantial bonuses based on personal and firm results..

The right candidates will have strong writing skills and a career goal to get into the courtroom and develop trial skills. (Note: if you are not a California attorney, do not apply.)

Qualifications

Admission to the California State Bar

• Experience in conducting depositions and court appearances
• Knowledge of California civil litigation procedures and practices
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
