Location: San Jose, CA 95134 (100% onsite week with an average of 10% monthly travel)

What You’ll Do
- You’ll assist with developing, implementing, and overseeing EH&S programs for local and regional sites. Location: Onsite at our San Jose-based headquarters five days a week with an average of 10% monthly travel. Reports to: Sr. Manager, EHS
- Develop and administer EHS training programs, including compressed gas, EAP, electrical safety, hazardous waste, fire safety, etc.
- Develop written EHS programs and procedures to meet company and/or Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
- Conduct job hazard analysis and draft safe operating procedures .
- Conduct chemical inventories . Update the safety data sheet database based on inventory.
- Revamp laboratory safety signage.
- Revamp site emergency guides. Create and administer education campaigns.
Requirements
What You Bring
- 5-10 years of experience with EHS, ideally in a research and development setting.
- Multi-disciplinary background (EH&S, industrial hygiene, and emergency response management)
- BS degree preferred in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering or a related field
- You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.
