What You’ll Do:

As a Maintenance Lead , you’ll lead the way in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

Leadership:

• Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
• Assign and prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Technical Expertise:

• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulic presses, sewing machines, and other specialized machinery.
• Oversee facility maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
• Utilize CMMS software to maintain accurate records and schedules.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to implement new machinery and processes.
• Monitor and manage energy efficiency and facility safety standards.

Budget & Compliance:

• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies to minimize downtime.
• Oversee the maintenance budget and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct safety training and risk assessments, including lockout/tagout and arc flash procedures.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree preferred).
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with 2+ years in a leadership role . Experience in the bedding industry is a plus!
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and maintenance software.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and inspire your team.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments with varying conditions (heat, cold, and noise).
