The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) seeks a dynamic Sales Operations manager to support sales operations and contracting, serving as the bridge between sales, finance, strategy, educational programming, and customer success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Broadly, provide support for association sales operations and processes, including HubSpot CRM management, contract development and management, program/product fulfillment initiation, and customer communication.
- Manage and maintain HubSpot CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and appropriate sales workflows.
- Generate weekly sales reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Support sales forecasting and quota-setting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes and tools.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to sales policies and procedures.
- Manage documentation of sales processes, sales kit, sales materials and provide ongoing updates to sales team and stakeholders.
- Contract generation and management for new business, renewal and upsell opportunities.
- Work with Sales and Customer Success for proposal generation, contracting and documentation.
- Lead weekly business development pipeline calls, including preparing reports on leads, prospects, pipeline management and internal tickets (e.g., contracts, proposals and invoices).
- Work with Sales, Marketing and Head of Strategy & Engagement and other key functional groups to manage incoming sales leads qualification process, including managing lead into prospect process, and professional communication with sales prospects.
- Work with Finance to support invoicing timelines.
- Work with Customer Fulfillment team to support program start-up and to resolve any process issues and implement process improvements.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience supporting sales or operations function.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales operations, business, marketing or a related role.
- Possesses a passion for organization, process management, and project management skills.
- Skilled with using technology to achieve organizational efficiencies and highly capable and curious with working with complex databases.
- Demonstrates expert customer communication skills, with a desire to build and deepen trusted relationships with customers.
- Demonstrate a proactive and proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Understands the importance of being an internal partner to multiple functional groups and serving as the bridge among internal groups.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions using good business judgment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Work is performed fully remotely; employee interacts with staff remotely and is expected to have member contact (phone and email) and consult with outside organizations and vendors.
- This position requires prolonged periods of working on a computer, speaking on a phone, using video conferencing, typing, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. at a time.
- Must be able to work some flexible hours, including weekends, particularly related to ACRP’s annual conference.
- Out-of-state travel may be required at least once a year, specifically related to ACRP’s annual conference.
