Labor & Employment Associate Attorney - New York

Our client, a global Am Law 50 law firm, is seeking a mid-level associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their Labor & Employment Practice Group in New York.

The estimated salary for this position is $235,000 - $390,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience
• Deep understanding of employment litigation, including claims for discrimination, retaliation, trade secret misappropriation, wage and hour violations, and other employment claims
• Robust experience counseling clients on a wide range of employment matters, including, but limited to, employee discipline and termination, policy creation and administration, wage and hour matters, restrictive covenants, employment contracts, internal investigations, and leave of absence issues is a plus
• Experience managing employment-related litigation process from discovery through trial, including drafting discovery motions, motions to dismiss, and summary judgement is a plus
• Experience or familiarity with the deposition process and preparation is required
• Ability to independently manage projects while effectively collaborating within a team environment
• Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills, along with superior research and analytical capabilities
• JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Admission to the New York State Bar
