Labor & Employment Associate Attorney - Chicago

Our client, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an associate attorney with 2-3 years of employment litigation experience to join their Chicago office.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of employment litigation experience, including experience with trade secret and restrictive covenant matters, and other complex disputes and litigations
• Stellar research and writing skills
• General knowledge of court filing procedures
• Big Law experience is preferred
• Federal clerkship experience is a plus
• JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Illinois Bar

Responsibilities:

• Conducting complex fact investigation and analysis
• Drafting pleadings and briefs
• Participating in expedited restrictive covenant and trade secret proceedings
• Supporting the labor and employment aspects of M&A transactions
• Communicating with clients
• Interviewing witnesses
• Drafting investigation reports
