Position: Lead/Senior Financial Analyst

Work Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 06+ Months (Likely to Extend)

Job Description:

Must Have Skills:

Financial Background – Strong understanding of financial concepts, especially mortgages. Educational background (CFA, Finance, etc.).

Data Handling – Ability to work with large datasets using a Unix system and navigate data efficiently.

Python & SQL – Basic scripting skills in either Python or SQL. No advanced SQL queries or complex data manipulations are required.

Dedication and willingness to learn.

Strong communication skills (10/10).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, economics, statistics or related fields.

5+ years of work experience, knowledge of mortgage financing is highly desirable.

Fluent in programming languages include python and SQL.

Knowledge of Unix operating system and shell scripts.
