Job Title: Vendor Research & Analysis Specialist (Contract)

Hourly Rate: $79 to $84 an hour

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Vendor Research & Analysis Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis to create a comprehensive landscape of vendors to meet specific business needs. You will manage the full RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFQ (Request for Quote) process, assess results, and provide recommendations based on both qualitative and quantitative analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work with internal stakeholders, compare financial costing models, and lead vendor evaluations to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis to identify and assess potential vendors that meet specific needs
• Manage and execute RFP and RFQ processes, from issuing requests to assessing and comparing vendor proposals
• Provide detailed comparisons of qualitative and quantitative aspects of vendor proposals
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to recommend the best-fit vendors based on research and analysis
• Evaluate and compare financial costing models, calculating expected costs associated with various scenarios
• Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and internal teams
• Serve as point-of-contact to support a key product engine for the team
• Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones (Asia) to ensure alignment

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in project management or vendor analysis
• Proven experience leading RFQ and RFP processes, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights
• Financial acumen, with the ability to compare and contrast complex financial models and cost scenarios
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, both with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate them clearly to diverse audiences
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
• Industry analysis and landscaping experience preferred
• Experience working in a matrixed organization and with cross-functional teams across different time zones
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (PhD, Master’s, or Associate’s degree with applicable work experience may be accepted)
