Summary:
Seeking an experienced leader to oversee and drive production operations at a mid-sized manufacturing facility with a stable company with a strong company culture. This role involves ensuring safety, performance, and accountability across teams while meeting production goals and quality standards. The ideal candidate will utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and throughput, collaborating closely with technical teams to achieve operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop a culture where safety is prioritized above all else.
• Manage daily operations across a large-scale, multi-shift manufacturing facility.
• Supervise and guide a diverse team of managers, supervisors, and technical staff working in extended-hour operations.
• Foster teamwork and continuous improvement, mentoring teams to excel in performance and operational execution.
• Oversee production planning to ensure accurate forecasting and meet on-time delivery objectives without compromising safety or quality standards.
• Create and implement strategies that enhance equipment efficiency and overall productivity.
• Partner with HR to evaluate and implement workforce models that optimize efficiency and output.
• Uphold high ethical standards while reinforcing values of safety, excellence, and innovation.
• Directly manage supervisors and managers while maintaining accountability for the production teams' overall performance.
• Support special projects and other tasks as assigned to align with organizational goals.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is advantageous.
• A minimum of ten years in leadership roles with progressive responsibilities
• At least six years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent background combining education and experience.
• Preferred: Experience conducting Gemba walks and leading process improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and team engagement
