Our client, a successful and growing law firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney with 0 to 4 years of experience to join the dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a background or desire in defending clients in liability cases, including those involving products, personal injury, and property damage, and will be adept at managing all stages of litigation.

Role: Associate Attorney

Location: Florham Park, NJ

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in/2 days remote)

Salary: $99k - $135k (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on liability-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in pre-trial proceedings, hearings, and negotiations
• Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations related to liability and insurance law.
• Manage case files and collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and litigation plans.
• Assist in mediation and settlement negotiations to resolve cases efficiently and favorably for clients.
• Stay up to date with current developments in liability law, including new case law and legislative changes.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 0-4 years of experience in general liability or product liability law (can be entry level or just recently admitted)
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
