We are growing Solar Company, looking to bring on an experienced Buyer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of purchasing/buying experience.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience with both purchasing + buying
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on cost savings and recovery for loss of time and/or materials

Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase materials, components, and services required for our manufacturing facilities
• Ensures timely receipt of ordered material to meet manufacturing requirements
• Secure suppliers of materials and services including logistics that meet quality, price, and delivery requirements
• Manage category spending for sister facilities as assigned
• Negotiates agreements for terms and price
