ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Writer working hybrid to support our premier client’s AI services team. The ideal candidate will have both a technical background that enables easy interaction with software developers and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation. This is a 5-month contract role that offers experience working with a collaborative, vibrant, and goal-oriented team.

Responsibilities:

• Author and deliver high-quality conceptual and procedural content, API reference documentation, and code examples
• Write customer-facing text for consoles and help panes
• Work with other writers, engineers, PMs, and SDMs to learn about and deliver documentation

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience designing and producing content for a technical audience
• Expertise with XML and Git
• Experience working directly with teams of software engineers and product managers
• Experience designing, planning, and delivering content for a technical audience
• Proven experience designing documentation for software APIs
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
• Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with a proven ability to work on multiple complex projects concurrently
• Experience with XML-based publishing systems
• Familiarity with using and following a style guide
• GenAI and Asana knowledge a plus
