Job Title: Internal Communications Specialist
Reports to: Chief People Officer
Job Summary:
The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and executing effective communication strategies to engage, inform, and align employees with the company’s goals, culture, and principles. This role focuses on developing internal campaigns, managing communication platforms, and fostering a positive and transparent organizational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute internal communication plans that align with organizational goals.
- Write and edit internal newsletters and announcements.
- Develop and implement campaigns to improve employee engagement and morale.
- Develop and manage employee testimonial initiatives, including identifying diverse contributors, conducting interviews, and creating authentic, multi-format content (e.g., video, written, and visual) to showcase the company's culture, principles, and employee experiences across internal and external channels.
- Create content for email campaigns, and digital signage.
- Act as a bridge between leadership and employees to convey messages effectively.
- Collaborate with leadership to design clear, consistent, and aligned messaging for key events.
- Present insights and recommendations for improving communication strategies.
- Coordinate and celebrate anniversaries, and other employee milestones to recognize contributions and achievements.
- Promote Suntec's core principles to cultivate a collaborative, accountable work culture and encourage an ESOP mindset that emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and long-term investment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- Bi-Lingual proficiency in Spanish & English
- Experience in internal communications or a similar role preferred.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience with graphic design or video production tools.
- Strong understanding of communication tools and platforms.
- Experience in creating visually appealing and engaging content.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
