Immigration Attorney Position – Join Our Team in Santa Ana
MCM Law Group P.C., a California-based law firm, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our team at our Orange County office. We are committed to providing exceptional legal services and advocacy in all areas of immigration law and are excited to bring on a passionate professional to grow with us.
Location : In-person, Orange County, CA
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000. To be agreed upon based on experience.
Language Skills: Bilingual (Spanish and English) is highly preferred due to the nature of the clientele.
Essential Requirements for the Position
License and Certifications:
• Active license to practice law in the state of California.
• Member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Preferably, prior experience with additional certifications related to immigration law
(not mandatory).
Education:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited university.
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in immigration law.
• Knowledge of USCIS procedures, immigration courts, and appeals related to
immigration.
• Experience in preparing and presenting complex cases, such as asylum applications,
family petitions, adjustment of status, nonimmigrant visas, and deportation
proceedings.
Specific Knowledge:
• Mastery of U.S. immigration laws, including recent policies and relevant
precedents.
• Ability to handle cases related to DACA, H-1B visas, EB-5, TPS, and others.
Professional Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality.
Availability:
• Ability to attend hearings in immigration courts across different parts of California.
• Availability to meet with clients in person or virtually as needed.
Technological Competence:
• Familiarity with legal software and case management tools such as Clio, SignNow,Docusign, Quickbooks or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
