Title: Business Analyst III

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst III with expertise in document functionality, including complex logic for healthcare billing. The BA will curate documentation for consumption by various stakeholders including billing system users, member and client support, development, QA, and management.

We are seeking someone who is very confident and can handle an executive-level audience. The best candidate will be outgoing, confident, and have excellent communication and written skills as they will work with all audience levels. Adaptability and multitasking is critical for the success of this role. Will be on-site Tuesday through Thursday.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ability to facilitate business requirements and elicitation sessions with multiple stakeholders.

• Collaborate with stakeholders including billing, finance, and client implementation to understand both short term and long-term goals.

• Document functionality including complex logic for healthcare billing.

• Curate documentation for consumption by various stakeholders including billing system users, member and client support, development, QA, and management.

• Day-to-day activities:

o Address production issues.

o Monitor and evaluate product progress.

o Troubleshoot complex and detailed billing challenges in collaboration with teams.

o Track urgent issues to closure, perform root cause analysis, and develop long term solutions.

• Project specific activities:

o Work with lead business analyst in creating a product road map.

o Analyze preferences and requests of end users and various stakeholders who interact with billing system

• Participate in refinement sessions to ensure adequacy of user stories/requirements.

• Participate in sprint planning including setting sprint goals.

• Participate in release and upgrade planning.

• Participate in daily support and project meetings with stakeholders and technical staff.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and practices.

• Strong Waterfall methodology experience and writing requirements under the Waterfall methodology are required.

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience is required.

• Work experience supporting billing systems.

• Collaboration with multiple stakeholders including technical staff, ETL developers, operations, and billing.

• Ability to parse through many details to get to the root cause of complex challenges.

• Ability to prioritize time sensitive tasks effectively.

• Team spirit and good communication abilities.

• Good organizational skills.

• Working knowledge of product development architecture including ETL processes.

• Proficiency in the use of analytic tools.
