Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and other liability claims. This role requires exceptional legal acumen, a client-focused approach, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including case analysis, discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
• Analyze case files and provide clients with sound legal advice on defense strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents as required.
• Attend court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, court deadlines, and ethical standards.
• Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar license in (Insert State).
• 3-5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, insurance law, and defense litigation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
