Position Overview:

Role - Insurance Defense Attorney

Location - Irvine , CA (Hybrid - 2 days a week at office)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney with at least 2+ years of experience . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, specifically in handling insurance defense matters, and possess excellent legal research, analytical, and courtroom skills. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to work on challenging and complex cases while collaborating with a team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Analyze case files, evaluate liability and damages, and provide strategic recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Draft and review legal pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research to ensure the effective defense of clients in state and federal courts.
• Attend court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel to ensure timely and efficient case resolution.
• Provide guidance and updates to clients regarding case strategy, progress, and outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of case files and comply with firm and client billing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the state bar.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or related practice areas.
