Seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our esteemed firm in Chicago. As an Insurance Coverage Attorney you play a critical role in providing legal counsel on Insurance Coverage matters, analyzing policies, and representing clients in insurance-related disputes. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging cases and contribute to the success of our clientele and firm.

LOCATION: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze insurance policies and provide legal opinions on coverage issues.
• Advise clients on insurance-related matters, including claim handling, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigation related to insurance coverage disputes.
• Draft legal documents, including coverage opinions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with clients, claims adjusters, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients on minimizing risks and maximizing insurance coverage.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Illinois State Bar Association.
• 3+ years of experience in Insurance Coverage law.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, regulations, and industry practices.
• Excellent analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record of handling insurance coverage disputes and achieving successful outcomes.
