Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a rapidly growing family-owned business located in Vernon Hills, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic FP&A team. This newly created role will support the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while driving the success of a newly launched quarterly business review program. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in FP&A or public accounting, strong Excel skills, and a process improvement mindset.

This job in a nutshell:

• Take ownership of the new Quarterly Business Review program by building processes and procedures from the ground up.
• Create impactful KPI dashboards and deliver key financial reports to business segments.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Drive monthly performance analysis by uncovering key trends and opportunities.
• Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts and shaping the annual operating plan.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to assess profitability, ROI, and financial implications for projects.

We are looking for (key requirements/preferences):

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A or public accounting
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial analysis
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Process improvement mindset and ability to collaborate across teams

Compensation: up to $105K base salary + 3% profit share
