Our client is seeking a Trial Attorney with at least 5 years of trial experience, preferably in construction litigation, commercial litigation, and first-party property claims for its Coral Gables office. The ideal candidate will be able to handle complex multi-party construction cases in state and federal court, attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, and manage cases effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ability to review, draft, and analyze construction agreements.
• Ability to draft, review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and state and federal court trials.
• Manage cases and meet client expectations effectively.
• Assist with trial preparation and/or attend trial.
• Build trusting relationships with clients.
• Meet annual billable hour requirements and record time efficiently.

Qualification

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission with the Florida Bar.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• 5+ years of trial experience and complex business litigation.
• Strong knowledge of construction, lien, insurance and surety law preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
