Technical Writer
Hybrid: Bellevue, WA
5-month contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for new processes, tools, and technologies.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand system functionalities and translate them into clear and concise user guides, training materials, and other supporting documentation.
- Create engaging and informative content that effectively communicates complex information to a diverse audience, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain a central repository of documentation using tools like Confluence, SharePoint, and Jira.
- Contribute to the development of presentations, reports, and other communication materials to support key initiatives and decision-making.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and continuously improve documentation processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Technical Writing)
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer with a strong focus on creating clear and concise documentation for technical audiences.
- Experience creating and managing a document repository.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
