Position Overview
We are seeking a sharp, driven, and energetic Solutions engineer who will also have product management responsibilities to work directly at the tip of the spear. In this exciting role, you will work with the founders and sales teams to win new logo business and expand existing customer relationships. With a highly structured sales process, compelling ROI, , a novel and unique product without direct competition, this is an opportunity for an ambitious talented solutions engineer to get in on the ground floor and make a true impact. You must be intellectually curious, love software applications and be excited by the prospect of “building something,” as this role will come with additional product management responsibilities where you are feeding back real time
requirements from the market to the engineering team.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support & Solution Design
· Trusted Advisor Role: You will act as the trusted advisor and domain expert for clients during the sales process.
· Working hand in hand with the sales team you will lead a 2 day business assessment, where you will assess customer needs, pain points and align the Strata to solutions to address these business issues and create value for the customer
· You will lead a benchmarking exercise, where you will help quantify the value to the customer and showcase the ROI
· Solution Demonstrations: You will design and deliver tailored software demos to showcase the product's value specifically to the prospects environment.
· Technical Presentations: You will work with both technical and non-technical people to explain how the solution will be deployed and integrate into the customers environment explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Proposal Development: Help develop compelling proposals that show investment aligned to the customer return on investment
· Post Close Steering: You will remain close to your new logo clients through the deployment phase in a steering capacity so you are ready to identify new upsell opportunities
· Participate in a weekly revenue forum where you will forecast and feedback on sales process improvements
Product Owner
· Domain Expert: In this hybrid role, you will use your knowledge of the legal industry to play a lead role in developing and prioritizing future road map items
· Design Sessions: You will participate in design sessions, where your knowledge of the industry will be critical in adding capabilities that address the most pressing needs for law firms
· Launch Preparation: You will be involved in the transition from engineering to customer communications as new capabilities are shipped
· Thought Leadership: You will play a role in a thought leadership group of industry experts to define the future of the product
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree required.
? Minimum 5 years of experience in solutions engineering in the legal technology space
? Strong background in solution selling and managing complex sales cycles. Legal software sales is essential.
? Experience in a product management function or working closely with a product and engineering group is a huge advantage.
? Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a polished, professional presence.
? A desire to join a company with long-term opportunities and contribute to building its success.

$140k-$160K base + bonus
