About the Role - Delawie is seeking an experienced and talented Architectural Project Manager to join our team to work on-site in our Long Beach, CA office. This role involves high-level project management duties from project inception through construction administration phases. The successful candidates must be a team player who is well organized, detail oriented, focused, design driven, accurate, and committed to continuous improvement. Responsibilities:
- Manage projects of all sizes and levels of complexity and provides project team leadership.
- Assist in designing, documenting, and coordinating projects, from conceptualization through development and execution in the field.
- Follow projects from inception through construction to maintain design quality and intent.
- Develop project design schedules.
- Estimate project staffing requirements.
- Monitor and manage project staff work loads and project budgets.
- Support and assist other architectural technical staff in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Architectural license required.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in design/project management, with a focus on design and construction documents on a wide range of project types including hospitality, science & technology, corporate, industrial, federal, and educational projects.
- Leadership experience, including managing client expectations, multi-disciplinary teams, and commitment to meeting scope/schedule/budget requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of the architectural planning and design process, construction documentation, construction administration and code requirements
- Proficiency with Revit and BIM Collaborate Pro is required.
- In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp Modeling, MS Office, MS Project, and preparation of presentation materials.
- Effective verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills.
- Experience working with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) for project requirements and permitting.
- Experience working directly with clients.
