POSITION SUMMARY:

Under supervision and direction from Team Lead: Prep, sandblast, and apply protective and/or decorative paint finishes to prepared surfaces on a variety of products to meet specifications.

Formulate, test, mix and apply liquid coatings to meet specifications.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.

Preparation of surfaces for painting: includes sanding, cleaning off contaminants, and taping areas not to be painted.

Reads and understands paint specifications and product data sheets for a variety of paint manufacturers.

Selects and properly mixes paint for project according to specifications. Keeps work area, paint equipment, and tools clean, orderly and in good working condition.

Contributes to division results and performance.

Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
