Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Porter to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. In addition to porter duties, this role will occasionally assist as a busser during service to support smooth front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, kitchen, and storage spaces.

• Take out trash, recycling, and compost as needed, ensuring proper disposal and cleanliness of waste areas.

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils as needed.

• Sweep, mop, and clean floors regularly to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

• Restock supplies such as napkins, cutlery, and cleaning products throughout the shift.

• Assist servers and bussers during busy periods by clearing tables, resetting them, and ensuring prompt cleanup.

• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs, and report larger maintenance needs to management.

• Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety and sanitation standards.

• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper storage and rotation of inventory.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a porter, dishwasher, or busser is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong work ethic and ability to complete tasks independently or as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety practices in a restaurant setting.

• Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

• Flexibility to work shifts across both locations as needed, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $17-19/hour, based on experience.
