This person will participate and collaborate with managers and directors in various departments to ensure staff is educated and performing clinical duties properly. In this engaged role, the Acute Care Nurse Educator will play a vital role in overseeing nursing staff and administration throughout the hospital and provide coaching, mentoring, and counseling to nurses as needed. The RN Staff Educator will have the opportunity to assess nursing practice in each unit and analyze its impact on patient outcomes. The RN Educator will also manage and direct unit-specific orientations, skills training, and staff education records.
