Job Description: CT Technologist – 16-Week Assignment

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Dress Code: Olive green scrubs preferred

Requirements

• Education:
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology (R).
• Licenses and Certifications:
• Current New York State (NYS) license in Radiologic Technology (R).
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing contrast-enhanced exams (Preferred ).
• Experience using GE CT scanners (Preferred ).
• EPIC electronic medical records experience (Preferred ).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans, ensuring accurate imaging according to established protocols.
• Administer contrast agents and monitor patients for safety during procedures.
• Maintain and document accurate patient records within the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
• Conduct routine maintenance and quality assurance of CT equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Comply with all regulatory standards, including Joint Commission requirements and institutional policies.
• Provide compassionate and clear communication to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process.
