Job Description

Role Summary

The Paid Search Specialist supports Account Directors and Managers, on paid search accounts. Responsibilities cover NKW optimizations, budget adjustments, ad copy improvements, A/B testing, data collection, campaign setup, onboarding/offboarding, software management, conversion tracking, client reports, integrations, client calls, and creative assistance.


Key Responsibilities (Responsibilities & expectations include, but are not limited to:)


  • MRR Support: Contribute to the management and growth of a client portfolio.
  • Account Optimization: Collaborate on NKW optimizations, budget adjustments, and ad copy enhancements to improve campaign performance.
  • Client Engagement: Actively participate in client calls, manage action items independently, and foster positive client relationships, contributing to overall campaign success.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze campaign data, providing insights for decision-making and enhanced results.
  • Reporting: Develop client dashboards and reports to effectively communicate campaign performance.
  • Client Onboarding/Offboarding: Smoothly handle all aspects of onboarding and offboarding new clients to ensure a seamless transition.


Core Skills (Hard & Soft Skills include, but are not limited to:)


  • Paid Search Expertise: In-depth knowledge of paid search advertising platforms, particularly Google Ads, to optimize campaigns effectively.
  • Keyword Research: Proficiency in conducting comprehensive keyword research for campaign targeting and performance improvement.
  • Budget Management: Skill in adjusting budgets to ensure efficient allocation and maximize ROI.
  • Ad Copywriting: Ability to craft persuasive ad copy that improves click-through rates and overall ad quality.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to collect and analyze campaign data, providing actionable insights for campaign optimization.
  • Client Communication: Effective client-facing communication skills, including participation in client calls, managing action items independently, and building positive client relationships.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with various tools and software, including Asana, Everhour, Callrail, and integration platforms like Zapier for efficient campaign management.
  • Conversion Tracking: Knowledge of setting up and managing conversion tracking, providing tracking codes to designers, and ensuring accurate measurement of campaign success.


KPIs (Include, but are not limited to:)


  • MRR Growth: Increase the Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) of the client portfolio by a specific percentage over a defined time period to demonstrate contributions to account growth.
  • Campaign Optimization: Measure the percentage improvement in campaign performance metrics (e.g., click-through rate, conversion rate) resulting from NKW optimizations, budget adjustments, and ad copy enhancements.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Evaluate the percentage of campaigns where data-driven insights led to successful optimizations and improved results.
  • Effective Reporting: Ensure that client dashboards and reports are delivered on time and are rated positively by clients, reflecting the effectiveness of communication and reporting
  • Conversion Tracking Accuracy: Monitor the percentage of campaigns with correctly implemented conversion tracking, ensuring accurate measurement of campaign success.
