Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Driver Recruiter located in Louisville, KY. The Driver Recruiter will proactively reach out to independent owner-operator truck drivers to recruit them for Mercer Transportation. Your role involves understanding Mercer's needs and identifying well-qualified drivers who are a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to recruit independent owner-operators.
• Pre-screen drivers to assess qualifications and compatibility with Mercer.
• Assist drivers with the application and contracting process.
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed in compliance with federal regulations.
• Maintain a balanced approach, considering both the needs of Mercer and the drivers to create successful partnerships.

• Department of Transportation Regulations knowledge is a plus
