McRae's U.S. Mail Service Inc. located in West Allis, WI. is a fast-growing company and is looking to hire a full time HR Recruiting Specialist. This is a full-time job Monday-Friday.

Position Overview: McRae’s is looking for a motivated driver recruiter. Previous recruiting experience is required. Multi-tasking and attention to detail are imperative. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with load planners regarding recruiting needs & job specifications
• Create and publish job ads
• Screen resumes and job applications
• Pre-screen driver applicants for basic qualifications by submitting background checks and MVRs for potential new hire drivers
• Conduct initial phone screens
• Schedule road tests
• Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Onboarding drivers
• Setup pre-employment DOT drug screens
• Follows up with new hires and current employees to provide required information
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Recruiting preferably in the transportation industry
• Knowledge of Tenstreet not required but highly desired
• Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload with shifting priorities
• Must have strong verbal and written communication
• Team player – able to interact well with others
• Self-motivated – identifies new opportunities and takes initiative to solve problems
• Effectively manage your time
• Proficiency in Microsoft
• Experience with DOT regulations and transportation experience a plus
