Job Description

Equity Staffing Group is currently staffing a Clinical Admin Coordinator for on-site work in Davenport, FL. This is contract work with a Fortune 100 organization. Position: Clinical Admin Coordinator

Location: Davenport, FL 33897

Duration: 3 Month contract to start, potential of extension and/or conversion to FTE.

Rate: $19.00/Hr

Start Date: ASAP


Description:

1. Greets patients as they arrive and manages 10- 15 minute wait time.

2. Assists patient with intake processes including copying required documents.

3. Collects co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles and issues receipts.

4. Manages cashier box and daily deposits according to company policies.

5. Processes walk-in patients and visitors.

6. Answers phones and schedules appointments.

7. Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule).

8. Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in timely manner.

9. Processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.

10. Assist with HEDIS tracking and supplemental data reports.

11. Performs all other related duties as assigned


Ideal experience:

1. At least two years of related work experience (In Medical Field) including data entry.

2. Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.

3. Ability to accurately sort and file materials by alphabetic or numeric systems.

4. Effective communication and customer service skills required.


Education:

1. High school graduate or GED equivalent

2. Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills

3. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies required

4. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding

5. One to two years of related work experience including data entry.

6. Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.

7. Ability to accurately sort and file materials by alphabetic or numeric systems.

8. Effective communication and customer service skills required.


Hours: 8:00am- 5:00PM Monday thru Friday,

Computer Learning Modules, plus Onboarding training

Min Education: High School Diploma OR GED

Health Screening:

TB blood test, MMR, Varicella, Hep B titers, respirator medical clearance
