Project Controls Lead Analyst
10+ Months Contract
Kingston, TN (Onsite role)
Note - Per Diem will be provided if the candidate is staying more than 50 miles from the client location.
About role:
- Planning/Scheduling Role will at the project site in Kingston, TN on a Combined Cycle Power Generation project. The site is working a 5x10's schedule.
Duties:
- Lead level position assigned to a lead role in Planning/Scheduling. With minimal supervision, is responsible for independently applying advanced project controls techniques and analyses.
- The level may handle commercial issues and will provide leadership and guidance to less experienced project control personnel.
- Able to positively influence internal and external clients to achieve successful results.
- Achieves a high level of forecasting accuracy.
- Proactive in addressing project issues.
- Leads planning and schedule preparation using Primavera P6 on more complex projects including startup planning.
- Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control. Recognizes critical issues and interfaces.
- Confers with PM team on project execution matters. Participates in key risk management discussions.
- Participates in and may lead any potential claims issues. Ensures startup planning is at the appropriate level of detail.
Skills:
- 8+ years of Primavera P6 experience using CPM scheduling
- Construction experience
- Strong Earned Value understanding.
Education:
- Prefer master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Four-year bachelor's degree with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning and Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with ten years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning and Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.
