A production facility in Lincoln, NE is looking for a Quality QC/QA Supervisor . The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing supervisory experience in quality control/assurance, and be able to work safely in a warehouse production environment.
Responsibilities of Quality QC/QA Supervisor:
- Lead team in performing inspection on the parts.
- Record information and perform data entry in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Create & maintain inspection procedures & documentation.
- Ensure calibrations & repairs are completed according to schedule.
- Address supplier issues when necessary.
Requirements of Quality QC/QA Supervisor:
- High School diploma or technical certification.
- 2-3 years' manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with hand tools (especially for crimping & wire-cutting).
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics, also to follow production manuals.
- Experience using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Knowledge of calibration systems.
- Basic computer data entry skills (Microsoft Excel).
- Be a team player and help contribute to quality level and productivity.
This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
