JOB DESCRIPTION:

We seek a passionate and experienced Sensory Perception/Scientist to to help create groundbreaking products for everyday athletes. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary research team to develop innovative products aimed at improving the performance and experiences of everyday athletes. Your work will span across various sensory domains including footwear and apparel attributes such as feel , fit , and comfort .

The ideal candidate has expertise in sensory science , strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings in an accessible way.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct independent research experiments related to sensory perception in product development.
• Collaborate with Principal Researchers and cross-disciplinary teams to define research goals and methodologies.
• Develop new tools , methods , and procedures for data collection and experimentation.
• Analyze and summarize research data to communicate findings effectively to the research team.
• Contribute insights to drive product innovation and enhance athlete experiences .
• Manage and execute research plans , while staying aligned with the team's overall vision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education : MSc in Sensory Sciences , Food/Cosmetic Sciences , or a related field (or BSc + 2 years of experience).

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in Sensory Perception research with human subjects .

Skills :

• Strong understanding of sensory perception , experimental design , and statistical analysis .
• Experience with consumer product development is a plus.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently , take initiative , and adapt to challenges.

Desired Experience : Previous experience working on consumer products , particularly in footwear or apparel , is highly valued.
